Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada is an actress famous for her character Bo in The Showcase show Lost Girl. Silk was a native of Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk's parents are Peter, an academic and Peter Silk, who was known as an accomplished actor, director, producer, playwright, educator and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest memories were of going to the play school and watching her mom perform. Silk was featured in many commercials when she was just a child. She was in 1997 when she received a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas produced at least Two early productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk moved in Toronto in her quest to act and advance, then she moved to Los Angeles California. She met her new husband, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's training held in Los Angeles in 2007. They got engaged in 2009 before getting married at an unofficial ceremony in December. In April of 2011, they renewed their vows at the Jewish ceremony in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman's son was born May 2013, a son called Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on 13 May 2016. Silk was also nominated 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. The Canadian series Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk announced to her fans that she was pregnant in January 2013 at an episode of Showcase Season Three Special. Silk announced on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that production had begun on Season 4. The 4th of June, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the start of Production for Season 4, which will air in the fourth season. The CNN Cable News Network named her performance as Bo and Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples as one of their most-loved television Couples. E! named the couple as the top TV Couple in 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk has a huge online fan base on Facebook and Twitter as a direct result of its popularity.
